… is an East Coast-based illustrator, animator, writer, and comic artist. She is currently attending Bard College with a joint major in Written Arts and Studio Art. Magical realism and sci-fi/fantasy are genres of particular interest for her, but the most important thing to Fiona is that her work have a solid underpinning in philosophy, exploring such subjects as the clash between the modern and the mythic and uncertainty within the self. Her primary hope is to bring the plethora of books, films, and graphic novels stashed in her head into reality, where they might provoke thought and inspiration in others, as they have for her. In her free time, she enjoys doing deep dives into niche subjects and going on long, meandering walks in the forest, where you can expect to see her stooping down to take pictures of strange mushrooms every other minute.
